Report + Support

Report and Support is Cardiff University’s confidential tool for raising concerns and accessing support.

Students: Your report will go directly to the Student Support Intervention Team; trauma-informed practitioners who offer support around harassment, harmful behaviour, and serious mental health concerns. They provide help but do not investigate complaints.

You can raise formal concerns via:

·Student Conduct Procedure for issues involving other students.

·Student Complaints Procedure for concerns about staff.

Staff: Your report will go to the relevant HR team, who can guide you to appropriate support for bullying, discrimination, or sexual misconduct. This is not a formal complaints process. Please visit the staff intranet for guidance on submitting a formal complaint.

In an emergency: Call 999 immediately if the situation involves serious risk, also contact University Security on +44 (0)29 2087 4444. For urgent mental health support, dial 111 and press option 2.
